The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Human Resources Office is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to ´óÏó´«Ã½ departments, centers, and institutes in order to maximize the opportunities to recruit, develop and retain highly qualified personnel and to otherwise enhance the ´óÏó´«Ã½ employee experience. This is done in part through developing departmental training, consulting on human resource policies and employment law requirements, reviewing personnel actions, and advocating system/policy revision/improvements (in both processes and content as warranted). The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Human Resources Office is responsible for personnel functions for over 5,466 faculty and non-faculty employees,Ìý2,302 permanent and temporary staff, and 1,200 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.ÌýÌýIn addition to providing school-wide personnel customer service, theÌý School of Medicine HR Service Center provides HR Services to affiliated SOM Departments and Centers.
